Acuron GT Herbicide is a postemergence herbicide designed for weed control in glyphosate-resistant field corn. It utilizes a combination of four active ingredients: S-metolachlor (19.70%), glyphosate (19.70%), mesotrione (1.07%), and bicyclopyrone (0.94%). This product is intended for ground application to manage specific weeds in corn crops. When applied, the herbicide is absorbed by the roots and shoots of weeds, providing residual control for approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on rainfall or irrigation. Users should be aware that this product can impact non-target organisms, including pollinators, and may leach into groundwater or surface water. Handling requires specific personal protective equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, short pants, chemical-resistant gloves made of waterproof material, chemical-resistant footwear, and chemical-resistant headgear for overhead exposure. It is critical to follow all mixing, application, and drift management instructions to prevent environmental damage and ensure efficacy.
