Privacy Policy

LuperIQ companion apps (LuperIQ, Pest Controller) and websites. Last updated 2026-05-29.

This policy explains what the LuperIQ apps and the sites they create collect, why, and your choices. It applies to the LuperIQ and Pest Controller mobile apps and to business sites provisioned through them (on coderobot.net and pestcontroller.org).

Who we are

LuperIQ (contact: dave@luperiq.com). When you create a business site, you are the operator of that site and its data; we host and process it on your behalf.

What we collect

Account & business info you provide at sign-up: your email, business name, and optionally phone, city/state, and a chosen subdomain.
Site content you create in the app or admin: scheduling, inventory, invoicing, customers, technicians, documents, and similar business records.
Authentication data: a password you set (stored only as a salted hash) and session tokens issued to keep you logged in.
Basic technical data needed to operate the service (e.g., request logs). We do not use third-party advertising trackers in the apps.

How we use it

To create and run your site, authenticate you, and provide the app's features.
To send service email related to your account (e.g., your welcome/login details).
To secure the service (rate limiting, abuse prevention) and to back up your data.

How it's shared

We do not sell your data. Data is processed by infrastructure/email providers strictly to run the service (e.g., transactional email delivery). AI features, when enabled, are processed on LuperIQ-operated servers; you may optionally bring your own AI provider.

Where it lives & how it's protected

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on LuperIQ-operated servers with access controls and regular backups. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account/site is active. You can request deletion at any time — see Delete your account. On deletion we remove your site and associated personal data from active systems; residual copies in encrypted backups age out on the normal backup rotation.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email dave@luperiq.com or use the in-app account controls.

Children

The business apps are not directed to children under 13 and do not knowingly collect their data.

We'll update this page and the "last updated" date when this policy changes.
